1. Feast of Saint Blaise in Mondovi

During the week of Ferragosto, Mondovì becomes alive with the traditional Festa di San Biagio, which takes place in the streets of the cityà.

On these days it will be possible to try typical local dishes, such as risolè filled puff pastry treats, as well as to attend musical concerts and the blessing of the tractors.

In addition, right in Mondovì you can take a ride in a balloon, a track ride with the Go Kart or a horseback ride.

2. Visiting Turin

We suggest, too, that you visit the city of Turin. In just one day you can admire the Mole Antonelliana and visit the Museo del Cinema.

Not only that: we also recommend a visit to the Royal Palace or, for an original experience, to the Museum of Caffè Lavazza, where you can discover and taste the latest novelties.

For those who wish to spend 24 hours in Turin, è you can purchase the Torino Card: starting from 30€, you will be able to access all the above-mentioned museums with a single ticket.

Finally, to end the day, we suggest a walk to the Valentino Park and theMount of the Capuchins, perfect for enjoying the sunset over the cityà.

3. Quad bike excursion in the Monferrato region

For lovers of adrenaline-fueled experiences, we recommend spending the day of Ferragosto exploring the hills of the Monferrato byquads.

You can choose between 2 tours: the classic Quad Tour or the Quad Tour with a visit to a winery, where you will be able to visit exclusively a Infernot.

The’experience costs 120€ for the driver and 30€ for the passenger.

4. Snowy Meadow and the Mid-August Concert

We suggest you spend the August Ferragosto in Snowy Meadow. On the program will be the August Ferragosto Concert, scheduled in the Red area, with a performance by the’Bartolomeo Bruni Orchestra of Cuneo. The day of August 15 will begin at 11 a.m. with an grillingall’outdoors.

Also, during the summer period, we recommend that you drop by the Bike Park, where you can have fun on the MTB.

5. Street food Sauze d'Oulx

In the week of Ferragosto, in Sauze d'Oulx, you can taste different typical dishes, coming from all over Italy, thanks to the Street Food Festival.

But not only that, during this period, you can try different experiences, a'quad bike excursion, or have fun with your family at the adventure park, with different routes suitable for everyone.

6. Picnic in the Po River Park

During this mid-August summer day, we recommend a picnic in the Piedmont Po Park.

At the park you can walk along the paths and later pick up your picnic basket. You will find a variety of local products: from salami to cheeses typical of the area, to homemade cakes.

The park is a great place to eat.

The experience has a cost of30 € per person.

7. Infernot wineries in Cella Monte with tasting

This experience includes a visit to Infernot wineries in Monferrato in Cella Monte, one of Italy's most beautiful villages since 2018.

The winery visit will then be followed by a tasting of 4 wines accompanied by a platter of cold cuts and cheeses.

The cost starts at €25 per person for those who taste, while those who do not taste pay €5 per person. Reservations can be made for groups of up to 15 people

8. Trekking in the Maira Valley

We suggest you discover one of the most evocative valleys in the Piedmontese Alps: the Valle Maira, during the days of Ferragosto.

You can travel it in its entirety with an itinerary of 177 km, divided into 14 stages.

The route, designed in 1992, runs from 600 to over 2,700 meters above sea level, passing through mountainous landscapes and small Alpine villages. On the dedicated site you can find more information on stages and places.

9. Spending a night in a historic farmhouse

In Monferrato, you can experience total relaxation in a historic farmhouse located in the hills of Cortandone, a few kilometers from Asti.

You can stay overnight in one of two available suites: the Biker Suiteor the Circus Suite, featuring an original and extravagant design.

The experience includes breakfast and is priced from 300€ per nightper couple.

10. Tour among the wineries of the Langhe

For an unusual experience, to be done in company, we suggest a truffle hunt, led by a trifulau professional and his faithful dog, the "tabui".

The duration è is about 1 hour and 30 minutes, with shared tour options at 50€ per person or private at 80€ per person.

We recommend sporty outdoor clothing. In case of light rain, the activity's guaranteed with the provision of rubber leggings and capes.
