1. Visiting Turin city center

We suggest, too, that you visit the city of Turin. In just one day you can admire the Mole Antonelliana and visit the Museo del Cinema.

Not only that: we also recommend a visit to the Royal Palace or, for an original experience, to the Museum of Caffè Lavazza, where you can discover and taste the latest novelties.

For those who wish to spend 24 hours in Turin, è you can purchase the Torino Card: starting from 30€, you will be able to access all the above-mentioned museums with a single ticket.

Finally, to end the day, we suggest a walk to the Valentino Park and theMount of the Capuchins, perfect for enjoying the sunset over the cityà.

2. Palace of Venaria

20 minutes from Turin, we suggest you make a stop at the Reggia di Venaria, one of the historic residences of the Casa Savoia. È can be visited all year round, with tickets starting from 20€ per person.

During the summer period, particularly in August, evening events are organized. On August 14, for example, è you can also visit the palace in the evening hours and attend live music concerts.

3. Horse riding outside of Turin

Just outside Turin, immersed in the countryside Canavese, we recommend horseback riding. During the outing you will see a hilly landscape, with rivers, forests and grasslands.

The ridesare also suitable for early learners, but are intended for an adult audience (18 years and older). They last about 1 hour and 30 minutes at a cost of 30€ per person.

4. Feast of the Alpini in Bairo

Bairo, a few kilometers from Turin, during the August holiday period hosts

5. Feast of Saint Roch in Ivrea

From August 15 to 17, 2025, in Castelnuovo Don Bosco, è the annual edition of the “Feste 'd San Ròch” (Feast of St. Roch) is scheduled.

The program will include 3 evenings with markets, grilling and musical events.

For more information we suggest you visit the site of the municipality.

6. Picnic in the Po River Park

During this mid-August summer day, we recommend a picnic in the Piedmont Po Park.

At the park you can walk along the paths and later pick up your picnic basket. You will find a variety of local products: from salami to cheeses typical of the area, to homemade cakes.

The park is a great place to eat.

The experience has a cost of30 € per person.

7. The Monferrato

For Ferragosto, we suggest you spend the day discovering Casale Monferrato, an ancient village where you will also have the’opportunity to taste the typical cookies: krumiri.

But that's not all: in the area you can participate in several degastings, or take a e-bike tour among the Piedmont hills.

8. Track ride on go-karts

For those who love adrenaline experiences, we recommend a go-kart ride just outside Turin.

You can experience the thrill of driving a 390cc go-kart on an open-air track, with sessions of 10, 20 or 30 minutes.

The cost of the’experience starts from 28€ per person.
