The tasting and visit to the Infernot cellars in Monferrato takes place in Cella Monte, which joined the Borghi più Belli d'Italia (Italy's Most Beautiful Villages) in 2018 and includes: a visit to the historic winery and the infernot, followed by a tasting of four wines and a small platter of cured meats, cheeses and bruschetta.

The infernot are underground caves dug by hand, which allowed the Monferrato territory to become a UNESCO World Heritage Site along with the Langhe and Roero territories in 2014.

The visit concludes with a tasting of four wines produced by the winery accompanied by a small cutting board of local products and breadsticks. For the cutting board you can request a vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free version.

Horseback riding in the Monferrato hills will take you to discover the typical fauna and flora of the Piedmont hills.

The stable is close (less than an hour's drive) to Asti, Alessandria and is just over an hour from Cuneo and Turin.

A wonderful panoramic snowshoe hike that will take you through the picturesque snowy landscapes of Prato Nevoso in the province of Cuneo.

You will walk on soft white snow with views of pristine winter scenery, the colors of winter and the tranquility of the mountains. A unique experience that will repay the effort (not too much) of snowshoeing! There are several ways to perform the snowshoe outing:

Panoramic snowshoeing
You will meet the guide and once you have your snowshoes on, you will set off on the approximately two-hour hike that will run along fresh snow in the Trucca Sape' forest. Thursday through Monday, start in the morning or afternoon.
The total elevation gain of the walk is approximately 300 mt.

Snowshoeing with Aperitif
If you prefer instead a shorter hike and end with an aperitif in the fresh air among the snow, you can choose the pre-summer outing "apericiaspola" starting at 5 p.m. and lasting 1 h 30 min (snowshoeing about 1 h).

Snowshoeing with lunch at the Refuge
A fantastic snowshoeing experience to Chalet il Rosso in Prato Nevoso with lunch included. Once lunch is finished you will then descend from the lodge back to the starting point.

If there is a lack of snow, the snowshoeing can be moved to higher elevation by adding the cost of the gondola.

The departure è scheduled near the Rosso Panoramica chairlift on Corona Boreale street, from which you will depart by snowmobile and reach the Chalet il Rosso. From the chalet you will have the opportunity to see a suggestive sunset, accompanied by an aperitif. At the end of the aperitif, the guide will lead you to the meeting point.

During the snowmobile-guided excursion, the landscapes of Prato Nevoso will be explored from a’different perspective.

È important to wear snow clothing (gloves and clothing that keeps warm recommended). Helmets willà be provided by our staff. It will beà possible to request photos and videos of your experience from the staff entirely free of charge.

Horseback riding in the Langhe hills will give you a relaxing experience riding a horse.

The departure is from Farigliano, in the province of Cuneo, where the instructor will give you directions to ride to the stables.

Afterwards you will leave for the excursion where you will have the opportunity to discover the hills of Piedmont and immerse yourself in the trails and vineyards of the Langhe.

You can choose from 1-hour, 1 1/2-hour or 2-hour hikes (some experience is needed for the 2-hour ride).

Sportswear with long pants and closed-toe shoes is required to participate.

•    1h walk

Before the start, there will be a short briefing where you will meet and get to know the horses you will be hiking with.

Then you will enter the Avigliana Lakes Nature Park and, after walking along trails, woods and dirt roads, Lake Grande will appear on the horizon. You will skirt the shores of Lake Grande of Avigliana and then return to the stable.

In all, the route will take about an hour, and you will see the Avigliana Lakes on horseback. With this walk, you will not reach Avigliana Castle.

•    2 or 3 hour walk

Horseback ride to Avigliana Castle, near Turin and starting from the town of the same name.

You will ride through forests and ascend on horseback to the Castle, from where you can admire a fantastic view of the valley below. The hike is also suitable for beginners with no horseback riding experience.

Finally you will pass through the medieval village and finally return to the stable, heading towards Lake Avigliana.

Horseback riding in the woods of Albiano d'Ivrea, in the Gargnanese hinterland, a few kilometers from Turin with an experienced guide.

Program

The meeting is at the riding school in Albiano d'Ivrea, in the province of Turin. Upon arrival, the equestrian guide will welcome participants and provide a brief introduction to basic techniques for safely handling the horse.

The ride will take place along the "Route of Wonders," a loop trail of about 7 km on the hill of Albiano d'Ivrea, among vineyards, streams and poplar groves. Along the way, visitors can admire the Bishop's Castle of Albiano, built on the remains of a Roman villa, and characteristic installations.

During the excursion, equestrian guides will accompany the group on foot, ensuring safety and sharing interesting facts about the area. At the end of the ride you will calmly return to the riding stables.

This itinerary opens with a visit to the historic cellars, followed by a rich tasting menù consisting of five courses. A tasting of four wines from the Castle's cellars will be offered as a pairing.

This service è available only for lunch on weekends. The cost of lunch for non-tasting adults is 60€.

The non-scheduled public transportation service gives you flexibility in planning your day, allowing you to devote the time you want to each island.

You will begin the experience by preparing the horses together with the guides, taking a few minutes to become familiar with your riding companion.

Once ready you will set off on your walk accompanied by a walking guide for each rider, to ensure maximum safety and enjoyment of the excursion.

In all, the route will take about an hour, and you will see the Avigliana Lakes on horseback. With this walk, you will not reach Avigliana Castle.

Leaving in the morning or afternoon, you will have the opportunity to be accompanied by an Alpine Guide and/or an Environmental Hiking Guide for half a day in the snow alone, as a couple or with your group of friends. The hike will last about 3 hours.

Private daily snowshoe hike

Daily snowshoeing to enjoy the snowy landscapes on a more in-depth hike. The hike will have a duration of about 6 hours.

Snowshoe rental has a cost of 10€ per person to be made on site.

È technical winter clothing is recommended: boots suitable for walking in the snow (no Moonboots) and warm, waterproof clothing. In addition, è it is recommended to bring a thermos with a hot drink to warm up during the outings.

This is a scenic snowmobile excursion, highly recommended for the experience of the guide and the beauty of the views. 

The total duration of the tour is one hour where you will receive a short 15-minute briefing with tips on how to ride the snowmobile, brief description of the route and safety practices and then you will drive for the entire remaining duration immersed in the scenery.

The snowmobiles are new Yamaha, model Nytro 1000cc (135 hp) or Venture 500cc (90 hp), approved for 2 people and 1 person respectively.

Depending on snow conditions, the guide may move the experience to Sansicario (about 10 minutes away by car).

It is possible for two people to ride the snowmobile, with children ages 5 to 10 seated between the two adults.
