Hot-air balloon ride over the Po Valley from Mondovì
A shared scenic hot-air balloon ride in the Milan area is an unforgettable experience offering a unique view of the entire Po Valley and the surrounding hills.
The activity lasts approximately 3–4 hours, including inflating the balloon, a flight lasting about 1 hour, landing, packing up the balloon, an aperitif, and returning to the meeting point.
The meeting point for the activity is at the Mondovì (CN) Aeroclub.
The activity can be enjoyed year-round, immediately after sunrise. The flight path varies each time depending on wind strength and direction.
Once in the air, the wind will determine the route. This makes every flight different from the others: a unique experience awaits you, along with a prime vantage point to take in a magnificent panoramic view. The skies above Mondovì offer a splendid aerial view of the Alps, the Langhe, and—on the clearest days—the Ligurian Sea.
Once you’ve landed, before returning to the meeting point, you’ll be offered a glass of aperitif for a toast.
The required attire for participation is seasonal sportswear, including long pants and closed-toe shoes without heels.
