A real Safari... but on the snow by snowmobile, from Lake Antorno, near Cortina and Misurina, to the Three Peaks of Lavaredo at the Auronzo refuge.

During the ride you will be driving the snowmobile for a length of about 20 km lasting 1 hour, going through stretches in the middle of forests and fir trees, until you reach the foot of the Three Peaks of Lavaredo, the most famous mountains in the Dolomites with an incredible view of Cortina d'Ampezzo and the whole valley.

The serpentine of snowmobiles (maximum of 4) will follow a guide who will determine the pace and safety of the chosen route. You will first do a 3km loop around Lake Antorno and then the real climb begins, stop for 10 minutes at the Auronzo hut, just below the Three Peaks for photos and a short break and then return to the bottom of the valley.

Total activity duration 1 hour.

At the end of the experience it will be possible to add a tasting of wines and local products including D.o.c.g. wines from Trenitno, Veneto and Alto Adige and local cold cuts and cheeses or a snack.

The snowmobile tour in Misurina is the perfect winter experience to discover the area of the Dolomites of Veneto. It is a real snow safari!

The experience includes a 20 km route starting from Lake Antorno to the Three Peaks of Lavaredo at the Auronzo refuge. During the trip you will be able to admire the snow-capped mountains, and once you arrive at the foot of the Three Peaks you will enjoy a beautiful view of the valley.

Helmet is mandatory and available on site

Lunch will be around 12 noon then, depending on the time you book (9:00 am or 3:30 pm), it will be after or before departure, at Chalet Lago Antorno, where you can enjoy:

•    Appetizer of local cold cuts and cheeses.
•    Mixed grill with pork ribs, chicken, rump, vegetables,
•    House dessert.
•    Wine, water and coffee.

Throughout the experience you will have to follow the guide, who will indicate the speed.

For the 3:30 p.m. safari, lunch will be at 12:30 p.m., never after the activity.

It is not necessary to have driven a snowmobile before; to be the driver you only need to be at least 18 years old.

Maddy's Alpine Chalet is the new chalet of Rifugio Flora Alpina, located in Falcade, in the province of Belluno, on the border between Veneto and Trentino-Alto Adige.

The chalet is nestled in the nature of Valfredda and canò accommodate up to a maximum of two people. It consists of a double bedroom with a large window with panoramic views of the surrounding area, bathroom with private sauna and a small living area with a table and everything you need for an excellent breakfast.

Overnight stay at the chalet also includes half board with a dinner with a set menu perfect for tasting the typical dishes of the area prepared and breakfast that can be made independently at the chalet for which you will be provided everything you need.

Maddy's Alpine Chalet, in addition to the sauna, è has a private outdoor tub accessible for the duration of your stay.

The meeting point will be the Flora Alpina Refuge, where you will check in and from there you will then be escorted to the chalet.

Snowmobile ascent and sledding descent to the Three Peaks of Lavaredo starting from Misurina, the pearl of the Dolomites, in the province of Belluno. 

Program

For this experience the selected time è only indicative. Just show up at the meeting point (communicated after booking) between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to get in line and wait your turn to board the snowmobile.

You will then be transported through the woods to the Auronzo Refuge at 2300 meters where you will be handed your sled and can begin your descent down the slope.

The toboggan ride è very easy, not è dangerous and è also suitable for families.

Those who do not wish to go down by sled can return with guides to Misurina comfortably by snowmobile, or even on foot.

The Las Vegas Lodge is located at about 2050 m above sea level in the hamlet of San Cassiano in Badia, in the province of Bolzano, Trentino-Alto Adige. The lodge è ready to host you for a tasteful and fun dinner.

The experience begins with a beautiful snowmobile tour that takes you from the Golden Eagle ski rental in San Cassiano up to the mountain, where you can enjoy a three-course dinner with a set menu. On Wednesdays, the hotel organizes a DJ set that accompanies dinner.
