The 3 best dinners in a Mountain hut in the Fassa Valley

Dinner at a mountain hut in Val di Fassa above Canazei at Passo Sella with transportation by snowcat through the mountains of the Dolomites.

Departure è planned for 7:00 p.m. from Passo Sella and with a snowcat or tracked quad you will reach the hut in about 10 minutes from which you can admire the snowy panorama of the Dolomites at over 2000 meters.

The evening begins with an open-air aperitif accompanied by a greeting from the kitchen. It will then be followed by dinner consisting of a 3-course menu with a selection to be chosen at the table of:

•    3 first courses
•    2 main courses
•    2 desserts

For children è there is a dedicated menù which includes a dish and a dessert or ice cream.

Transportation è always included, while drinks are excluded from the price.

Dinner ends about 10 p.m. and you will be escorted back to the meeting point.

Let yourself be transported by a snowmobile piloted by an experienced guide to a typical cabin in Val di Fassa, one of the most beautiful valleys in the Dolomites in Trentino.

The experience is scheduled at 7 p.m. in Campitello di Fassa where a guide will be waiting for you and will take you to the hut by snowmobile along snowy trails (about 20 min). The snowmobile will be driven by the lodge staff.

The lodge is located in Val Duron, one of the four Ladin valleys in the Fassa Valley area, nestled among the Dolomite rocks of Sasso Piatto and Catinaccio (a UNESCO World Heritage Site).

The evening begins with a flute of prosecco accompanied by a greeting from the kitchen.

The full menu includes: appetizer, a first course or second course, and dessert. Beverages are excluded.

Dinner will be served with a choice at the table from a fine selection of:

•    2-3 second courses
•    2 desserts

There is a reduced menu for children up to 6 years old. In case of high turnout, the table may be shared.

For the return, the guide will take you back to the meeting point.

Small dogs may be transported by snowmobile.

If you are more than 20 minutes late, your reservation will be cancelled without refund.

In case of little snow a part of the route can be done by jeep and then by snowmobile.

Hiking boots or after-ski boots are required for all snowshoeing in the Fassa Valley and it is recommended to bring a backpack with a wind/rain jacket, water bottle and snacks.
