The 10 best things to do on the Alpe di Siusi

Dinner at a mountain hut in Val di Fassa above Canazei at Passo Sella with transportation by snowcat through the mountains of the Dolomites.

Departure è planned for 7:00 p.m. from Passo Sella and with a snowcat or tracked quad you will reach the hut in about 10 minutes from which you can admire the snowy panorama of the Dolomites at over 2000 meters.

Sledding down the scenic Resciesa funicular track in Ortisei, Trentino, is an exciting experience in the Puez-Odle Nature Park, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site.

The funicular departs from Ortisei, passing through forests and meadows, up to a height of 2,200 meters, with an incredible panorama towards the Sella Massif, Marmolada, Sassolungo Group and Sciliar Group, which is jaw-dropping. To descend to the valley, there will again be a funicular to take.

The toboggan run in Ortisei is a typical and fun experience, suitable for everyone from 6 years old.

A helmet is mandatory for the descent. You can bring one or rent one on site, paying on the spot, at a cost of 6€.

Horseback riding in Val Gardena from Selva will allow you to immerse yourself in the picturesque nature of the Dolomites in Trentino.

The excursion is suitable for everyone, even beginners. Upon your arrival there will be a short riding lesson in the riding stables to learn how to ride and then leave with the 1-hour walk.

The scenic route takes you through the green forests of Val Gardena until you reach the World Cup ski slope and then back to the riding stables.

Appropriate clothing with long pants and closed shoes is required to participate in the walks.
