The farmhouse restaurant "La Selvaggia" is ready to host you for a moment of peace and relaxation where you can enjoy excellent dishes of Lecco's culinary culture in an environment in contact with nature and a breathtaking view.

The menuù "Unlimited wine" consists of a rich appetizer, first course, second course, dessert, and coffee. All is accompanied by half a liter of red or white wine, and a final bitter.

For children up to 10 years of age, the farmhouse offers the "menù baby" consisting of appetizer, first course of the day, Milanese cutlet with French fries, homemade dessert, and water.

To reach the farmhouse you have to walk for about 10 minutes along a small road, so it is recommended to wear appropriate clothing.

The farmhouse provides overnight accommodations with breakfast included in the price. The facility has 4 double rooms. Therefore, it is possible to reserve overnight stay on the same day even for more than two people, however, it will be necessary to make multiple reservations

The Al Sass farmhouse hosts you in three characteristic dining rooms ideal for couples, families or companies that find in a unique and imaginative environment hospitality and cheerfulness, surrounded by a green area for those who want to relax in the surrounding nature.

The crotti are natural sinkholes that penetrate within the remains of ancient landslides detached in the distant past from the valley slopes. 

At the interior of the crotti, a current of cold air, locally called Sorèl constantly blows in, which is maintained at a constant temperature of about 8° all year round, allowing the perfect preservation and seasoning of typical Valchiavenna dishes: local salami, alpine cheeses and good wine!

Before the meal there will be an opportunity to explore the crotto, the staff will answer any questions you may have about the history of these wonderful structures.

The Crotto Belvedere then offers a set menuù consisting of appetizer with sciatt and cold cuts, bis of first courses and second mixed course with polenta. Water coffee and Prosto cookie (typical sweet) will be included in the price.

The dinner at Crotto Belvedere è an opportunity to discover the food and wine culture of Valchiavenna. The menuù of the dinner includes an appetizer with sciatt and cured meats, a bis of first courses, a mixed second course with polenta and, for dessert, the biscottino di Prosto, a typical local dessert. Water and caffè are included, while extra drinks are excluded. 

Before sitting at the table, it will be possible to participate in a short guided tour of the crotto, the typical Valchiavenna tavern. The crotto was originally the cellar of Chiavenna houses, built as a natural refrigerator for curing cold meats and cheeses thanks to Sorèl, a current of fresh air from underground.

The crotto, as a tavern, serves traditional local foods and consists of three spaces: the dining room, the outdoor area with stone tables and the wine cellar.

In addition to dinner è it is possible to book an overnight stay, with or without spa access, at Albergo Piuro, a 5-minute walk from Crotto Belvedere. Brunch è perfect for sharing convivial moments with friends and family. From sweet to savory, you will find everything you desire. You will be able to select four dishes to pair with our wines and more.

The Cascina San Giovanni farm does not è only wine: from the beehives allocated in the Maffioli vineyard two honeys are obtained, millefiori and chestnut.
From the olive groves, a wonderful evo oil, from the orchard of fragrant jams, to spread on bread or to taste combined with cheeses, all km0 products.
