Boat excursions in Tropea and the Coast of the Gods: what to know
Boat excursions in Tropea promise an unforgettable experience amid crystal-clear waters, hidden coves and spectacular views along one of Calabria's most fascinating stretches: the Costa degli Dei.
With its sheer cliffs, white beaches and turquoise seabed, Tropea is the ideal starting point for exploring this corner of paradise from the sea. Excursions lead to iconic spots such as Capo Vaticano, famous for its pristine bays and clear waters perfect for snorkeling, or to caves and coves reachable only by boat.
During the cruise, moments of relaxation alternate with swimming stops in picturesque coves, where the sea takes on hues ranging from deep blue to emerald. Many experiences include aperitifs on board with typical local products, such as the famous red onion of Tropea, cold cuts and Calabrian specialties, accompanied by a good glass of wine as the sun sets over the Tyrrhenian Sea.
Thanks to the mild climate that characterizes the area for much of the year, boat trips to Tropea are available mainly from spring to fall, with tours varying in duration: from outings of a few hours to daily mini-cruises. Prices can range roughly from 25 to 100 euros per person, depending on duration, type of boat and services included.
Whether it is an experience among friends, a family day out or a romantic sunset aperitif, a boat trip along the Costa degli Dei is a perfect opportunity to experience the Calabrian sea from a unique perspective and create truly unforgettable memories.

FAQs for Experiences in Calabria
How much does a boat excursion cost?
The price of a boat excursion may vary depending on the period, type of boat, and whether or not there is an aperitif/lunch/dinner. Excursions on our website range between 30€ and 130€ per person. In addition, if the excursion includes the boat exclusively, the price per person is spread among the participants, so it will be less the more people until the capacity is reached.
What to bring for a boat excursion?
We suggest bringing along all sun protection equipment. If the excursion does not include lunch/aperitif, you are usually allowed to bring a packed lunch. For more specific questions, you can always contact the skipper once you receive the booking confirmation email where you can find his contact information.
Will other people be present during the boat tour?
In case the tour is "Of Group" the boat tour does not provide exclusivity, so there is a possibility of other people joining; in case the client requests the "Private" tour the boat is kept exclusive, for a slightly higher price.
