

Spend a day surrounded by nature in Macugnaga, a quaint Walser village at the foot of Monte Rosa, with picnic, apiary visit and honey tasting.
The day begins with a guided walk through the Dorf, the historic village of Macugnaga, where your nature guide will tell you about curiosities, stories and customs of Walser culture. At the end of the visit, you will receive a picnic basket with local products to enjoy freely in the surrounding meadows, with about two hours to relax and admire the mountain views.
In the afternoon, you will visit a scenic apiary overlooking the east face of Monte Rosa, to learn about the world of bees and their role in the alpine ecosystem.
The experience concludes with a guided tasting of different types of honey, accompanied by a sensory analysis and pairing with local cheeses, to appreciate the aromas and flavors of the area.
