Truffle-hunting workshop with Lagotto dogs in Sarezzano and tasting
In Sarezzano, you’ll discover how a Lagotto Romagnolo is trained to search for truffles. Over the course of about two hours, you’ll participate in exercises at the training field and watch a demonstration in the woods, followed by a small tasting.
You’ll observe the initial training of a puppy and the training of an adult dog. The trainer will explain how the dogs develop their motivation to search and their ability to recognize and signal the scent of truffles; you’ll have the opportunity to participate in some guided exercises.
In the adjacent grove, you’ll watch the dogs search for truffles that were previously buried for the demonstration, paying close attention to their behavior and how they work with their handlers. At the end, you’ll enjoy a glass of wine and a small tasting of truffle-based products.

Easy difficulty; no experience with dogs or knowledge of truffles is required.
The activity is guaranteed to take place once there are 4 adults paying the full rate.
