Truffle Hunting Outside Tortona
Live an authentic experience in the Tortona woods together with experienced guides and their faithful truffle dogs. You will actively participate in the search for the precious underground mushroom, discovering its curiosities, traditions and secrets.
The dates and times selected at the time of booking are approximate and may vary depending on weather conditions and product availability. Confirmation of the appointment will be arranged with the organizer.
When booking you will be able to choose between two experience modes:
Traditional Experience (ages 5 and up)
Follow a walking trail surrounded by nature to learn about the world of truffles, their seasonality and the training of search dogs.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult; the activity is not recommended for children under 5 years old. Dogs are not allowed.
Night Experience (18 years and older)
Night truffle hunting is an authentic Piedmontese tradition, practiced after sunset to maintain the privacy of the sites and facilitate the search, thanks to the humidity that intensifies the scents of the soil.
Night truffle hunting is only suitable for those over 18 years of age. Due to practical and operational issues, it is not recommended for people with disabilities and pregnant women.
