Sardinia and Quad & ATV Excursions: what to know

Sardinia offers a wide diversity of vegetation for quad bike excursions on the beach within a few kilometers of the main resorts. The most characteristic area is Villasimius and Southern Sardinia, where breathtaking coastal views can be enjoyed. The area southwest toward Iglesias and Sant'Antioco also offers very enjoyable excursions with sea views. Otherwise, quad bike rides in Ogliastra immersed in the Sardinian woods and vegetation, or towards the North of Sardinia the area of Alghero and Stintino are also very attractive.

ATV tours vary in duration: they range from about 1h up to half a day. The price varies depending on the duration; it is around 30/40€ per hour. Some facilities also offer the possibility of combining the quad bike ride with a local tasting or aperitif, or a swim in the Sardinian blue waters.

These are very fun rides even for beginners, so no previous experience on 4 wheels is necessary. In addition, it is possible to swap riding between passenger and driver halfway through the ride, as long as both have a B license.
