Wine Tasting with a Tour of the Vineyards and Winery in Montepulciano

Join a tour of an authentic family-run winery in the hills of Montepulciano and discover wine beyond the glass. The experience takes place at Cantina Chiacchiera, in the peaceful area of Cervognano, just outside the historic center.

The tour begins right in the winery, where the family will welcome you. You’ll take a guided walk through the vineyards and learn about the region, the vines, and the philosophy behind their winemaking. The tour will continue inside the winery, where you’ll learn about the various stages of winemaking, from grape to bottle.

At the end of the tour, you’ll take part in a guided tasting of a selection of the winery’s wines. Members of the family will lead the tasting, sharing personal and authentic insights about the wines, their aromas, and their connection to the region.

Cantina Chiacchiera was founded in 2010 by the Rubegni-Mancianti family and spans approximately 20 hectares, carefully selected to highlight the characteristics of the soil and microclimate. After years of passionate work, the winery began selling its wines in 2017, maintaining a strong focus on quality and authenticity.

The name “Chiacchiera” pays homage to Mario, Emanuela’s father, known for his ability to tell stories—just as a good glass of wine does. Today, Emanuela, along with Donato, Viola, Matilde, and Vera, welcomes guests with genuine hospitality and creates a warm and memorable experience.
