1. Beach of Marina di Orosei

The Beach Marina di Orosei owes its name to its proximity to the town of Orosei of the same name, as it is just 3 km from the town.

It is a beach of fine golden sand, about 2 km long with clear sea and shallow seabed, making it perfect also for families with children.

On the beach there are all essential services such as bars, restaurants, toilets, and sunbed and umbrella rentals. Behind it there are 2 parking lots in which to leave the car.

During windy days è perfect for those who want to practice surfing and have fun in the waves.

2. Su Barone beach

The Su Barone Beach, located next to Marina di Orosei, è a long expanse of fine, slightly amber sand. The seabed è sandy and quickly becomes deep.

The strong point of this beach è the ease with which è it can be reached, being close to the town of Orosei. The beach è surrounded by a green pine forest and the Petrosu Pond, which è an ideal place to admire the grey herons that populate this picturesque coastline.

Parking in the pine forest costs 5€ and will allowà your car to stay in the shade.

3. Osalla Beach

The Osalla Beach is a continuation of the Su Barone Beach, between Orosei and Gala Gonone

Is a long stretch of golden sand that offers a peaceful environment and numerous services, such as umbrella rentals, a kiosk and a restaurant.

It's easily reachable by car from Dorgali, driving along the SS125 and following the signs to Ispinigoli Cave and then to the beach. The parking near the beach is free.

4. Bidderosa Beach

TheBiderosa Beach is located within the protected oasis of the same name of about 800 hectares, consisting of 5 coves of clear sand and shallow water.

The access è to closed number, allowed to a maximum of 130 cars per day: therefore, it is recommended to book online in advance, especially in high season. During booking è you can enter the license plate of your vehicle.

The beach è can be reached by car by driving along the SP25 following the signs for the’Oasis. There are 3 parking lots in the area, 2 of which are adjacent to the beach. È also available is a shuttle service for those who prefer not to use the’car.

5. Cala Ginepro

Cala Ginepro, is an ideal destination for snorkeling. The crystal-clear and shallow waters of this cove offer the opportunity to explore a rich and varied sea floor

You can venture among reefs and coral formations, admiring the local marine life that includes colorful fish, mollusks, and sometimes even sea turtles

The site is easily accessible by road, you can rent snorkeling equipment at the Ginepro Cove campsite, where you can also rent pedalò and kayaks from June 1 to Sept. 30.

6. Sa Mattanosa Beach

The Sa Mattanosa Beach, with free access and no closed number, is located near Cala Ginepro and is easily accessible through pine forest paths.

To avoid the summer crowds, it is recommended to go as far as the north part, which is quieter. Nearby there is also a dog beach well reported.

The beach can be reached by car along the SS125, after the junction to Cala Liberotto, past the’access to the’Bidderosa Oasis. Both free and paid parking spaces are available in the immediate vicinity.

7. Sa Curcurica Beach

The Beach of Sa Curcurica is located area of Siniscola, and è adjacent to the beach of Cala Ginepro, so much so that they are often considered to be one wide sandy expanse because of their similar characteristics.

10. Cala Luna

Cala Luna is a bay with 800 meters of fine sand and crystal clear waters, ideal for snorkeling and diving. Here, è you can rest in one of its caves or, if you are a diving enthusiast, explore the relitto del Nasello, a fishing boat sunk during World War II.

To visit Cala Luna you can choose to take a boat tour from Cala Gonone, which includes visits to other famous coves such as Cala Mariolu and Cala Goloritzé.

Alternatively, it is possible to reach Cala Luna on foot by following a path of about 6 km that starts from Cala Fuili, which can be walked in about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

11. Cala Mariolu

Cala Mariolu, voted the beauthest beach in Europe, è also known as "Is Puligi de Nie" (the snow fleas) for its characteristic pink and white pebbles. The beach is distinguished by its colorful hues and the high cliff that surrounds it.

The shallow waters of Cala Mariolu are ideal for snorkeling and scuba diving. In addition, è you can spot dolphins offshore and nearby you can explore the Fico Cave and several coves, including Cala Luna.

To reach Cala Mariolu by land è requires a challenging trek from the Golgo plateau, recommended only for experienced hikers. The most convenient way to get to the cove è via sea, with a'boat trip from Arbatax, Cala Gonone and Santa Maria Navarrese.

12. Cala Goloritzè

Cala Goloritzé è a beach created in the '60s by a landslide and è famous for its white sand and a 143-meter spire, ideal for sport climbing.

You can reach Cala Goloritzé via sea or via land, via a path of about 3.5 km. The trail begins with a slight climb, followed by a descent through the rugged landscape of Bacu Goloritzé.

The trail will take you directly to the beach in about 1 1/2 hours. The return, due to the difference in elevation, takes about 2 hours and è recommended for experienced hikers.

Access to the beach è limited and it is mandatory to pay an entrance fee of6€ per person.
