Sardinia and Boat Tours: what to know

To visit Sardinia, there are various boat tours to admire its fantastic coastline and one of the most beautiful seas in the entire Mediterranean. Among the most comprehensive are theExcursion from Golfo Aranci and boat tours with departures from the cities of Olbia, Cagliari, Villasimius and Alghero.

Prices for a boat excursion in Sardinia are between €25 and €180 per person. The price depends on the duration of the tour and whether it can be done exclusively, without other people on board or with an aperitif or lunch.

Some boat tours also offer the possibility of organizing Fishing Excursions, to enjoy an authentic fishing experience, helping local sailors directly on board and eating the freshly caught catch.

Catamaran day in Tavolara and Molara from Olbia

The daily catamaran excursion to Tavolara and Molara departing from Olbia allows you to experience a relaxing and fun time exploring two well-known Sardinian islands.

While sailing to Tavolara you may also spot dolphins that are searching for food in these areas.

When you arrive in Tavolara you will make a stop of just over an hour that will allow you to dive into the crystal clear waters and visit the island and its beaches, where you will be enchanted to discover the stories related to the "King of Tavolara" .

Tavolara is an island that juts out of the sea like a granite colossus dotted with Mediterranean greenery that gives its name to the marine protected area around it. The island is known as the world's smallest kingdom.

The elongated, almost flat-shaped island is the centerpiece as well as the defining symbol of an unforgettable spectacle: the Tavolara-Punta Coda Cavallo marine protected area, which stretches 76 kilometers along the coast .

You will also have the opportunity to enjoy a rich aperitif with typical Sardinian products accompanied by local vermentino wine.

You will then sail to Molara, making another bathroom stop.

A lunch break is planned in the Tavolara Pools area. You will have lunch on board floating on the turquoise sea.

On the return sail, weather permitting, the skipper will choose another cove to take one last swim from your choice of the wonderful bays of Porto Istana, Cala Girgolu , the three sisters of Capo Ceraso or Cala Moresca.

The relaxing sail back will be dedicated to the search for dolphins, whose sighting is not guaranteed, however.

In case of food allergies and intolerances, it is possible to contact the facility after booking.
