Tour of a dairy with cheese tasting at a historic villa near Milan

Discover a family-run farm near Milan with a visit to the dairy, a tour of a historic 15th-century villa, and a tasting of artisanal cheeses. You can choose between two options: a visit with a tasting and a glass of wine, or the full experience with a traditional lunch.

During the experience, Elisa—who has been making cheese at the family farm since 2008—will guide you through the farm and its daily activities. You’ll get up close with the cows, pet them, and visit the cheese-making workshop, where you’ll learn how milk is transformed into fresh and aged cheeses.

You’ll continue with a tour of the historic villa dating back to 1480—restored and designated a National Monument—which dates from the time of Leonardo da Vinci. You’ll discover the history and art of this ancient residence and can enjoy a moment of relaxation in its gardens.

At the end of the tour, you’ll enjoy a tasting of the farm’s cheeses, including fresh ricotta, primosale, and a selection of creamy and aged cheeses, paired with a glass of local wine. If you choose the lunch option, you’ll also get to enjoy a traditional Milanese saffron risotto. The experience begins at 10:00 a.m. and lasts about 2.5 hours or 4 hours, depending on the option you select.
