Horse Riding in the hills of Bologna
Choose horseback riding in the Bolognese Hills to explore the Via degli Dei, the ancient trail between Bologna and Florence.
Departing from a riding stables in Sasso Marconi. 1- or 2-hour routes are available; minimal experience required for longer rides.
1-hour route
On this shorter outing, you will be taken near Palazzo de' Rossi, a scenic 16th-century complex, passing among centuries-old plane trees and cultivated fields, with the possibility of skirting the Reno River.
2-hour route (for experts only)
If you choose the two-hour horseback excursion, you will have the opportunity to admire the Palazzo de' Rossi and walk along the Via degli Dei until you reach the Laghetti del Maglio, pristine bodies of water rich in flora and fauna. The trail is for experts only.
For the more unsure, there is the option to stay at the camp for a riding lesson or modify the route. Our horses are calm and experienced, able to recognize the participants' experience and moderate their gait.

Also suitable for beginners. Minimum age: 14 years. The 2-hour ride is reserved for those with some experience riding horses. Any physical conditions, disabilities, or severe obesity must be disclosed at the time of booking.
