Canyoning at the Prodo Gorge outside Orvieto to spend a day of adventure in a real all-natural amusement park.
Program
At the beginning you will be given your equipment and receive a briefing to face the route safely.
After a short 5-minute walk you will reach the beginning of the gorge, below Prodo Castle, and immediately start with a plunge and descent of the highest waterfall, 16 meters.
You will continue through jumps, dips, rappels and stretches to swim in the crystal clear waters of the stream, crossing increasingly narrow rock walls, slides and waterfalls to the end of the canyon.
There is the opportunity to use changing rooms, bathrooms and showers at the end of the outing, with a small fee to be left at the bar.
The duration of the experience is 5 hours of which 3 hours are spent in the canyon. Trail of medium difficulty suitable even for novices. Times given may vary, depending on the size and speed of progression of the group, or possible crowding in the gorge.
