The beach è easily accessible by various means starting from Alghero:
.- by bus, thanks to the suburban line or the convenient "beach bus" which makes stops at the main beaches in the area.
- by car, following the State Road 127 BIS in the direction of Fertilia–Porto Conte.
- by bicycle, following the bicycle path that runs parallel to State Road 127 BIS. In about 40 minutes you will arrive at your destination.

3. Advice and suggestions
The Lazaretto Beach, given its length, can hold up to 800 people, but being quite well-known, it tends to fill up very quickly, especially during the high season.
For this reason, we suggest you go to the site in the first half of the morning to secure not only a place on the beach, but also a place in the parking lot.
4. Things to do near the beach
If you find yourself on Lazzaretto Beach, we recommend taking a short walk along the coast to get to the Lazzaretto Coves, which can only be reached on foot.
Among the various beaches in the area, we also recommend you visit the Cala dell'Argentiera and the Spiaggia di Porto Ferro, which are located between Alghero and Stintino.
To explore the Coral Riviera in an alternative way, we suggest you consider an'organized boat trip or renting a dinghy.
Furthermore, the area offers numerous experiences such as a horseback ride by the sea or a quad bike ride with a stop for swimming in the sea.
