A visit to a winery with wine tasting in Chianti, near Arezzo, allows you to discover the production techniques of the historic wines of the Tuscan tradition.
You will be greeted by an estate located in the Colli Aretini subzone of Chianti, on gently sloping land between two streams.
The oldest vineyard was planted 80 years ago and today alongside the indigenous Sangiovese, Malvasia and Trebbiano vines are rows of Syrah and old vines of Cabernet Sauvignon.
The winery produces both a more traditional wine close to classic Chianti and more innovative wines, following the modern concept of the great Supertuscans.
You can choose between two options.
La Ripa Tour
This experience allows you to visit the winery and the estate vineyards. Afterwards, there is a tasting of 4 wines paired with a platter of cold cuts and cheeses.
This will be accompanied by Tuscan bread and local extra virgin olive oil whose production process is explained and carefully tasted to appreciate its organoleptic profile.
All Tuscany Tour
This tour begins with a visit to the winery where you will be explained the winery's production philosophy and the main mechanisms of wine production, then tour of the vineyards during which the history of the estate is told.
You can then move on to a tasting of three of the main Tuscan appellations (Brunello di Montalcino, Chianti Classico, Bolgheri) that will be compared with three Supertuscans.
This will be accompanied by a board of local cured meats and cheeses and Tuscan bread with local extra virgin olive oil.
In case of food allergies and intolerances, it is possible to contact the facility after booking.
