Quad bike tour of the Alcantara Gorge to Mount Etna

Guided half-day quad bike excursion between Etna and the Alcantara Gorges, departing from the Alcantara Valley. The tour lasts about 4-5 hours and is on mixed, mainly dirt trails.

During the hike there is a stop in Castiglione di Sicilia, a village of historical interest, and a stop at the 2002 lava flow to reach an altitude of 1,800 meters.

The route leads up to the slopes of Mount Etna through forests, rural roads and sections on ancient lava flows.
