Setting out from Stintino aboard a comfortable maxi-zodiac, equipped with all the amenities and accompanied by an experienced local skipper, you’ll enjoy an unforgettable experience exploring the extraordinary Asinara Island.
The first stop will be at Fornelli, in the southern part of the island, where one of the most important sections of the maximum-security prison designated for the 41-bis regime was located; it is open to visitors during certain times of the season.
The tour will continue with two stops for swimming in the spectacular crystal-clear waters of the Gulf of Asinara. You’ll be able to swim at the Natural Pools of the Strait of Fornelli, one of the island’s most picturesque spots, famous for its turquoise waters and extraordinary colors.
Leaving the gulf behind, we’ll sail along the spectacular northwestern coast ofAsinara, admiring the majestic cliffs overlooking the sea at Capo Falcone, before reaching our final swimming stop in front of the famous La Pelosa beach, considered one of the most beautiful in the Mediterranean.
During this stop, you’ll be offered a small tasting of typical local products, accompanied by a glass of well-chilled Vermentino.
