Horse Riding in Castel Fusano between pine forest and the sea

Horseback riding from Castel Fusano is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in nature near Ostia. There are 1- or 2-hour excursions available.

Before you go out for the hike, the instructor will give you a briefing to teach you the basics of riding and then you will begin the experience.

1 hour

From the riding stables you will ride into the Castel Fusano pine forest where you can relax and enjoy the tranquility of nature in one of Rome's largest green areas.

2 hours

In the 2-hour ride, in addition to the pine forest, during the period from October to May, you will have the opportunity to get to the beach and take your horses into the water for an even more impressive experience. During the summer season (May-September) you will not reach the beach but will stay in the pine forest.

Sportswear with long pants and closed shoes is required to participate in the experiences.
