Snowshoe hike under the stars on Mount Terminillo with a guide and dinner at the Pian de' Valli mountain hut
You’ll set out from Pian de’ Valli for an astronomy snowshoe hike on Mount Terminillo, followed by dinner at the Sebastiani Mountain Hut. Including the briefing, hike, and dinner, the experience lasts about 6 hours.
After meeting the guide at 4:00 p.m., you’ll hike about 6 km through snow-covered slopes and forests, with a 300-meter elevation gain. As darkness falls, you’ll continue with a flashlight, gazing at the stars and listening to explanations about the constellations and the solar system.
Upon returning from the snowshoe hike, around 7:30 p.m., you’ll head to the refuge for the included dinner. Depending on the route chosen by the guide, the refuge may be at the starting point or require a short drive.
