Truffle Hunting with a Local Lunch in Chianti

Discover the world of truffles with an experience that combines a real truffle hunt in the truffle grounds alongside the truffle hunter and his dogs, Bella and Rolly, with a final lunch featuring truffles and local Chianti products.

You’ll meet your guide 10 minutes before the scheduled time and begin with an introduction to truffles: you’ll learn what a truffle ground is, what varieties exist, how the dogs are trained, and many interesting facts about this tradition. Before setting out, you can refuel with some homemade cookies.

You’ll then enter the farm’s truffle ground with the truffle hunters, Bella and Rolly, following the dogs as they search. When they pick up the scent of a truffle, you’ll get to watch it being dug up and see firsthand how this activity is carried out.

Upon your return, a lunch will be waiting for you, featuring a platter of cold cuts, cheeses, and Chianti specialties, followed by a truffle pasta dish. Water, house wine, and coffee are also included.
